Adult Library CLOSED Wednesday, August 12
Due to upgrades and maintenance in the building, ALL PORTIONS of the library will be closed Wednesday, August 12, 2015. The Adult Library will reopen on Thursday, August 13, 2015, for our regular hours of 1:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. The Youth Library will remain closed until Friday, August 14, 2015, for our normal hours of 10:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
We apologize for this inconvenience. If you need to return items, you can leave them in the dropbox located in front of the library. If you need to renew items, call the library, leave us a message with your name and phone number, and we will renew them for you.
Thank you for your patience as we work to keep our library looking nice.

The Pittsfield Public Library will be represented at the Pike County Senior Citizens Resource Expo 2015 at the Crossroads Center on Thursday, August 21, 2015, from 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Stop by our table and find out what services the library offers the senior citizens in our area.

Come One, Come All!
The Kelly Miller Circus clown will be visiting the Pittsfield Youth Library on Monday, September 21, at 10:45 a.m. Kids of ALL ages are welcome!
The Kelly Miller Circus Clown will share about the history of the circus and entertain us with balloon creations and other "clowning around!"
Mark your calendars for this exciting event and then get ready to enjoy the entire Kelly Miller Circus when it comes to Griggsville, Monday, October 5.
Kids can also win tickets to visit the Big Top and see the circus on October 5, by participating in the Coloring Contest hosted by the Pike Press. Pick up a coloring sheet at the Youth Library or print out a copy here. Drop the completed coloring sheets off at the Pike Press or the Pittsfield Youth Library for a chance to be entered into the contest to win tickets! Coloring sheets need to be dropped off at the library by September 21, 2015, or to the Pike Press by Friday, September 30, 2015.

America's One Ring Wonder, the Kelly Miller Circus, is coming to the Western Illinois Fair Grounds - Infield in Griggsville, Illinois, on Monday, October 5, 2015.

Closed for Columbus Day
The library will be closed in observance of Columbus Day on Monday, October 12.
We will reopen for our normal hours on Tuesday, October 13.
