Library closed in observance of Independence Day
The library will be closed in honor of Independence Day on Tuesday, July 4th, 2017.
We will reopen for our normal hours on Wednesday, July 5th.
We wish all our patrons a safe and happy holiday as we celebrate our nation's birthday.
SCHOOL SUPPLIES FOR FINES
During the month of August, patrons of Pittsfield Public Library may pay their overdue fines by bringing in school-supply items.
SCHOOL SUPPLIES FOR FINES is a great way for our patrons to give back to the community and return their library account to good standing.
For each new school-supply item brought in, $0.50 will be subtracted from the patron's overdue fines.
SCHOOLS SUPPLIES FOR FINES does NOT apply to lost or damaged materials.
All items collected will be distributed to local grade schools.
Only NEW school-supply items will be accepted.

IN-SERVICE DAY – LIBRARY CLOSED
The library will be CLOSED on Monday, August 14, 2017, for a staff in-service day.
We will reopen for our normal hours, Tuesday, August 15, 2017, for our regular hours.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause our patrons and guests.
CLOSED ON LABOR DAY
The library will be closed in observance of Labor Day on Monday, September 4, 2017.
We wish all our friends and patrons a safe, fun, and happy Labor Day weekend.
